cleaning up

after reaching my grandmas house yesterday, i slept the whole morning away until it was time to go out for lunch. we went to this Hakka restaurant that serves really bitter vegetables. yikes. i had a hard time forcing them down my throat while my aunt spooned huge spoonfuls of them onto my plate. we went for a movie in the afternoon. didn't have much choice though. we watched Tron which was kinda touching in the end. not the ending i wished for though. shouldn't the father be with his son? i like happy endings. :)

we ate dinner at home and i scorched my tongue while sipping the soup. geee my food went tasteless after that. Nicholas, my sis and i chatted in our room until late at night,i got really high after that and couldn't sleep. great.

i was startled by my alarm --"monsters" by skillet, the perfect alarm tone to wake the whole house up--at 7 in the morning. i shut it off and fell back to sleep till 9 in the morning when my aunt came knocking at our door and shouting "WAKE UP WAKE UP IT"S 9!!!" at the top of her lungs. i ate putu mayam ( go google it ), ang ku kuih and some pineapple tarts for breakfast and started to clean the house for my grandma.

Nicholas and i are suppose to scrape the dirty paint off the walls. i accidentally spurted some water on to Nick and he actually sprayed white paint on me! there were a hundred thousands of caterpillars and spiders in my grandma's garden that made me scream my head off. got some scolding from my grandma in the end. geeeeeesshhh it's not my fault that i had to scream right? i can't help it! :(

it's my grandma's birthday today! gonna go celebrate tonight with some relatives that i don't even know. great. there's food anyway. no wasting. recycle. :)
